Both the smartphones are equally powerful for now but, in the long run, we can see the android smartphones lag behind the race slowly. It's because apple supports there smartphones at least for 5 years and maybe more with some security or performance updates but android platforms only support their phones for 3 years or maybe less. The major benefit of using an android phone is its freedom which apple lacks for some reason. Sometimes that freedom can be vulnerable as well.

So let's start with review because of the recent pandemic both the smartphone giants Apple and OnePlus sacrificed on their massive launch events and made it an online event. Nothing much has changed in the OnePlus 8 in comparison to the earlier oneplus 7T. The only addition was the integration of 5G which is not yet here but it's the future. The punch hole design and bezel-less design makes it a wonderful looking phone. Apple in the other hand squeezed the $1000 iPhone 11 pro into an iPhone 8 body. The processor is massive and brilliant because the battery, performance & cameras are far better than the iPhone 8 thanks to the A13 Bionic. They brought back the forgotten Touch ID. Both the smartphones starts at almost the same price iPhone se at Rs 42,500 and Oneplus 8 starts at Rs 41,999.

Best Value Smartphone

Speaking of value, in my opinion, oneplus 8 provides more value than the iphone se because it offers much more than the tiny SE. The 90Hz display, Larger battery with wrap charge, 5G, Fluid Amoled Display for oneplus but on the other hand the SE has an LCD display, Most value for the base storage 128 GB by one plus but apple only provides 64 GB. Please let me know your choice of best value smartphone in the comments below.
The OnePlus 8 is the best value Smartphone of 2020

Best Performance

For performance, both the phones are almost equal. But for me, the iPhone SE tops the competition with its latest and most powerfully optimized processor the A13 Bionic. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 is truly a great performer though apple optimizes there hardware for optimum performance.
Best Performance iPhone SE

Best Camera

Oneplus 8 has a triple camera setup 48-megapixel wide, 16MP ultrawide, 2MP macro while the iPhone has a single camera setup 12-megapixel. Both cameras are good but more details and colors can be noticed in the iPhones 12-megapixel shooter combined with the A13 bionic.

Best Battery backup

iPhone 1,821mAh Battery with Fast charging (18W) Qi wireless charging and the oneplus 8 packs a 4,300mAh Battery Fast charging (30W). Clearly OnePlus 8 has the battery backup winner here.
